One of the highlights of my retirement (so far) was our trip to Scotland and especially a tour of some of the distilleries on Islay. I can state for a fact that they are very particular of the pronunciation (Eye-La) and definitely prefer the spelling Whisky!
Whether the whisky is from Scotland or … I’ll happily sit back and take a sip or three. Some amazing whiskies are given in The Whiskey Bucket List. I just hope to be able to sample a few before my time!
